I tried my hand at kombucha this week. I friend donated a Scoby and I went for it. It had a week to brew so today I divided it up into my bottles and added juice to each of them. They are now sitting in the cabinet for a second ferment. I like the carbonation created so I'm hoping it all works right. I brewed up some more tea and added the scoby, so I'm hoping it's working it's magic once again. I've never had plain kombucha so I tasted it. I was surprised how good it was. The smell and flavor don't match, which is odd in a fun way. That said, I still really enjoy my juice added to it.
This week is going to be a wild and crazy week. I want to prep all things bread for thanksgiving celebrations. I am going to try freezing and transporting for our holiday celebration. This on top of all our regular craziness should be fantastic!

I kept the menu real classic and straightforward. Lots of my go-to meals to make things easier when things get hectic. Here's hoping I can get it all done, maybe even with a smile. :) Have a yummy week!
