As I predicted, last weeks plan was thrown out the window,
but not for the reason I thought. I ended up going down with the rest of them.
I haven’t felt like making anything, especially a full dinner. Fortunately, my
husband was willing to pick things up and eat leftovers from the week before to
get thru. The kids were happy with mac n cheese, and I could rest and feel
better.
By the end of the week I was feeling better, but we had lots
of Halloween plans and friends visiting which meant the plan had to be
flexible. I saw that coming, and now I know this week will be similar. I am
putting a plan together though so if need be, I’m ready.

We have had a change-of-schedule on Wednesdays…my son has
advanced to a yellow belt in his karate program. Yeah! It means that instead of
having dinner ready when we walk in the door from practice, I now need to have
dinner ready and eaten before we LEAVE for practice. There might be some
adjustment in finding quick meals that won’t sit in his tummy during practice,
and possibly a bedtime snack in the evening. Never imagined doing that, but I’m
ready. Let’s make it happen! Have a yummy week!
