I’m not sure what’s happening this fall, but I am not
getting my act together. We have been crazy busy with various activities and
events; it feels like we are always off to something. I really need to get used
to that as the kids get older.
This week I am singing the praise of probiotics! Everyone in
my house went down with a nasty bug last week; everyone except me! YEAH! I did
feel a little more tired than usual, but that could be from keeping up with all
the sickos. I am glad everyone is feeling better now. A friend is coming to town next week and I’m
hoping to learn the trade of kombucha brewing. Hopefully I can get some recipes
I really like; it would save a lot of money for sure.
Last weeks menu went well. Only a couple hiccups because of
the sickos desire to eat only soup and mac n cheese. All good. We are back at
it this week, and hopefully the straight-forward menu will be easy to stick to.

Admittedly, with friends in town you never really know what
you’re doing, so these could change on the fly. No problem. That just means I already
have some plans ready for next week. Stay healthy, and have a yummy week.
