Ahh, bitter sweet. Baseball season is over, and yet we had
such a fun time watching my son grow so much in such a short period of time it
was a little sad to see it come to an end. Meanwhile, we’ve moved on to our
sport for the summer...swimming. My
personal favorite, though I realize it’s really not a crowd pleaser especially
with the extreme summer temperatures we deal with. He really enjoys it though, and that’s what
matters.
Needless to say, last week was a wash. I did attempt to make
a menu, but it was clear by Tuesday it wasn’t going to happen so I scrapped it,
which is why you never saw it on the blog.
I’m optimistic this week will go more smoothly. We have a
more consistent schedule with most of our activities occurring during the
day. Wednesday will be a little
different because we have to eat sandwiches between swim team and karate. Also, on Saturday night we have a swim meet
so we’ll be eating poolside. Otherwise, it should be a nice week.

I’m really looking forward to diving into our summer
schedule. The kids and I are excited about our summer movies, trips to the zoo
