Weekly Post, May 8

It seems I might need to take a break from life in May. It’s crazy! The older the kids get, the busier things are.  We have baseball practices and games, karate, spring festivals and fairs, end-of-year school parties and teacher appreciations. The list goes on and on.

I have been making menus, and here and there even trying some pins and recipes I’ve found. The truth is though, sometimes they are utilized and sometimes I am lucky to get sandwiches on the table.  Sometimes we don’t even get to eat at the table, it’s in the car on our way to an activity. It’s all good though. I know it will slow down soon and I will look back at these times with fond memories, or rose-colored glasses maybe.

Speaking of pins, I do have a couple pins in the new menu that I’m excited about. I am hoping to make them ahead and have them on-hand for the right time.  Here’s hoping we can make it all work this week. Phew! Alright, have a yummy week, enjoy!
