Weekly Menu, Sept 12

I officially changed my menu to a Monday thru Sunday plan. Hopefully this will help with grocery shopping and my ability to come up with a plan easier. Didn't work out so well this week, ha! We had a SUPER busy weekend and I was exhausted every night so I was struggling thru meals. It was everything in me not to mix up another box of mac n cheese. Ever have a week like that?

Last week we did have some great stuff happening. The Teriyaki Marinated Grilled Chicken was awesome! Definitely having that again and putting together a recipe on my blog. It was that good. And I am getting more and more proficient with my steaks, yeah! My sons birthday went wonderfully, but the cakes weren't as pinterest-pretty as I would've liked. Oh well, you win some you loose some.

This week I'm trying some new things with classics. Sometimes that backfires on me; my kids get hooked on classics and they don't like me messing with them. We're going to give it a try though. I am also going to try a lightened up Alfredo recipe I found on pinterest. We'll see how that goes.

Once again, I feel like I'm in a rut for breakfast. I have been focused on creating my kefir shakes and I need to get back to stocking the freezer with breakfast foods. Hopefully things will start to normalize so we can find a new routine. Always looking forward to routine. Have a great week!
